# Logging in

Every time you run the application you will be prompted to enter your username / email address and password / pin to use the application.

**Site address**

Verify that the site address is correct for your Kanban Live account.\
 

**Username / Email Address**

Enter your username or email address. The username of the last user will be shown, if you wish to login using this username then you only need to enter your password / PIN.

**Password / PIN**

Enter your password or PIN code. To reduce the number of keypresses required, you may login using a 4 digit numeric PIN code instead of a password.

*Note: the PIN code can only be used to login from the handheld, due to security restrictions you may not use the PIN code when logging in to the web application.*
